SAG Lifetime Achievement Award

In January 2016, the Screen Actors Guild will award its 51st Lifetime Achievement Award to Debbie Reynolds. Reynolds has been on the big screen, television, and theater in over 50 roles in her 66-year career, breaking out as Kathy Selden in 1952’s Singin’ in the Rain. Photo by Brain van der Brug.

Academy of Motion Picture Arts Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award 

At the Academy’s 7th Annual Governors Awards on Saturday, November 14, 2016 Debbie was awarded the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award. This Oscar statuette, is given “to an individual in the motion picture arts and sciences whose humanitarian efforts have brought credit to the industry.”
